Good Follow Up

[W40k Dawn of Awesome 2]

Average...

I like how you point out the fact that, yes, the space marines hind in metal boxes. Rofl, I play the table top game and put a few of them together so I pretty much laughed my ass off. Also why not just do the original one? I mean, just doing Soulstorm means your just new to the franchise, or have you played the series? The fact is if you want to make fun of the game and or series, start from the original, then work your way up. Not at the end, it doesn't do your humor justice my friend.

Well, the voice acting is only atrocious in Soulstorm. The voice acting in Dawn of War and Winter Assault is actually pretty solid. I parodied the infamous "SPEHSS MAHREENS" dialogue with the first Dawn of Awesome.

I'm a veteran of both Dawn of War and the tabletop game, if you were wondering :)

I like it

The use of sprites is good, and the fact you based a story off, "Sonic the Hedge-hog," in this manner is quite interesting. But you need to fix some-things, such as some of the audio, (no not the sound effects). The sound quality for some of the voices are a little scratchy, (the voice acting was good, some of you guys need some improvement though.) But the fact that some of the audio needs to be fixed, isn't a major deal, and I understand. Overall I'd say you assembled a fine cast of voice-actors. There are some things you can still improve on though.

[Waiting for the Bus!]

Excellent quality...

I think switching the movie to the video format was a great idea. Sure there was some pixelation, but I think some animators on new-grounds would benefit from this format. Great animation and story, was very entertaining, and enjoyed every minute of it. Congrats on front page, and daily first, awesome cartoon.

As much as I hate to say this friend, I think your flash video can use some work. Think it over and make a better parody. It's not like I can't understand what your getting at,(thank you deutsche class), but your humor was a little dry to say the least. I know you put some effort into it, but you need some more practice. Good luck in the future.

Well I like the idea, I think the plot is good. You have your protagonist and antagonist. The animation was good, and your the voice acting was excellent. Though I saw a few minor flaws, and it kinda got a little boring. Since this looks like an action genre type, I would take some notes and improve to make an even better episode. That being said, are you going to make the second episode?

I play Warhammer 40k, and play as the imperial guard, and since I saw some guardsmen in that trailer, I gonna watch it. Best of luck, no-one really submits any wH40k animations around here. I wish there was more of them, a space marine driving the Ng tank though would have made me laugh either way.

It starts off very slow, and the movements are slow, kinda like the whole movie is lagging a bit. If I were you, I run through this project again. Also, choose a better background, it really doesn't do the characters any justice. Meaning; the pixels of the background should match up perfectly with pixels of the characters. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of what your getting at, but fixing glitches of your flash movie, that has to be the third most important thing after finishing the movie and writing the flash script.

I know this may sound demanding, but can you make a sequel to this flash. I not sure how you would do it but if this got turned into a series you'd grace the internet with something people have never seen, and will want to see.
